A night out at Butter with J's friends from school.

Food - Chikuwa Tei

Decided on having some alone time and headed to Chikuwa Tei at Mohamed Sultan for dinner. I was surprised that J had never been to the old outlet (Wasabi Tei) at Far East Plaza before. Back then it was a small hole in the wall Japanese joint, with an old "couple" manning the shop. Every meal was taken in silence for fear of the grumpy chef giving you a piece of his mind. Turns out, that lady helping him isn't his wife, but instead just his assistant. This I only found out much later when a friend told me that he's opened his new restaurant and is no longer grumpy!

Si Ying's farewell

Met up with some of my JC classmates for brunch, as a farewell for Si Ying who's going overseas to study in Cottbus. 

Only a few of us were able to make it, but it was a cosy outing nonetheless and I liked the place a lot.

Looking forward to our next meet up.

Babysitting Annie

Spent my Saturday babysitting my little niece, Annika and took some photos of her since my camera was in the living room.
