Si Ying's farewell

Met up with some of my JC classmates for brunch, as a farewell for Si Ying who's going overseas to study in Cottbus.
Only a few of us were able to make it, but it was a cosy outing nonetheless and I liked the place a lot.

Looking forward to our next meet up.

Babysitting Annie

Spent my Saturday babysitting my little niece, Annika and took some photos of her since my camera was in the living room.

And here she is, grinning after she farted right next to me!

Food - Spizza

Dinner at Spizza with J and my sister before he left for exchange.
It was a nice night of interesting topics.

Not sure what will happen but we're happy the way things are. A weird comforting feeling.

Travels - Tokyo Wanderlust

20-26 June 2010
Tokyo, Japan

How is a place special to you? For me it's not so much the place itself, but rather the experiences with people (travel companion, locals) that matter more to me. I don't have a place to recommend that you visit, I don't have any must go food places in Tokyo. I admit I am guilty of researching about food/places to go. But for me, this trip was great because we didn't have a guide book, we didn't visit any fancy restaurants. All we did was do whatever we pleased - exploring small lanes, walk into dubious porn video shops, take neo-prints, go see Sakuras and basically just not having an itinerary.

Instead of being told how to experience a place, we experienced it our own simple way.

If you get a bad charm at the temple, leave it there by tying a knot with your paper.
