Got to know about this cafe by chance because J was sick and we didn't want to go too far for brunch. I liked the idea of the cafe and the creamy pasta was pretty good! I think we especially enjoyed our short stroll and the peace and quiet away from the bustle of city life. A different way of spending our Sunday but enjoyable in it's own way.

Lessons from A
My niece, Annie, is about 16 months old now and there are many things I can learn from her.
She's not afraid to tell you what she wants, and tries everything and fights for her way. She laughs at her own silly antics and smiles at people. She doesn't give up and she lives life to the fullest enjoying everything she wants.
She's not afraid to bring her favourite toy out with her and openly expresses her love.
Even when she's tired she still tries her very best to get out of the house. And she definitely isn't afraid to show it when she needs rest.
I need to learn to be as curious and happy as she is.
Such a real person indeed.

Coffee - Pause
Met Eunice for coffee today at a new place and I really liked it! I have a thing for large spaces and large windows, and probably grass green rugs now.

Food - Fu Lin Yuan Yong Tau Fu
Sometimes we develop habits that don't last very long. One weird habit of the moment is J coming by for dinner together with me every friday before we head back to watch Great Migrations on Okto.

Modeling for My Secret Attic
Tried my hand at modeling for the shop and must say it's pretty difficult.
I like this red cardholder best!

Food - Chikuwa Tei
Decided on having some alone time and headed to Chikuwa Tei at Mohamed Sultan for dinner. I was surprised that J had never been to the old outlet (Wasabi Tei) at Far East Plaza before. Back then it was a small hole in the wall Japanese joint, with an old "couple" manning the shop. Every meal was taken in silence for fear of the grumpy chef giving you a piece of his mind. Turns out, that lady helping him isn't his wife, but instead just his assistant. This I only found out much later when a friend told me that he's opened his new restaurant and is no longer grumpy!
Left with happy bellies.
